Jovial Teo is a registered psychologist with a Master’s Degree in Applied Psychology, dedicated to providing evidence-based therapeutic services to a diverse range of clients, from children aged 7 to adults, with or without neurodivergent or special needs.

With 12 years of clinical experience, Jovial is proficient in various evidence-based therapeutic approaches, such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). Jovial fosters personal growth and addresses a wide spectrum of mental health concerns. Adopting a client-centered approach, Jovial emphasizes collaboration, cultural sensitivity, and individualized care plans tailored to meet each person's unique needs and goals.

In past roles, Jovial has delivered individual and group therapy sessions, conducted psychological assessments, developed tailored therapy plans, and collaborated with school staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure a holistic approach to client well-being. Jovial has also conducted research, published articles on psychology and neurodiversity, and delivered workshops and training programs to enhance skill competency and mental well-being for adult learners.

Jovial is also a certified trainer in several specialized areas, including PEERS, DISC Behavioural Consulting, PREPARE/ENRICH facilitation, OH Metaphorical Cards facilitation, and the Signposts Parenting course.
